Cancellation Policy & Tour Conditions
Cancellations received more than 7 days before the booked start time will be refunded, less any payment transaction costs.
Cancellations received between 7 days and 24 hours before the booked start time will receive a 50% refund. However if the cancelation is caused by changes to Covid Alert Levels you can either receive a full refund or re-schedule the tour to a later date.
Cancellations received within 24 hours of the booked start time, and no shows on the day, will not receive any refund. However if the cancelation is caused by changes to Covid alert levels you can either receive a full refund or reschedule the tour to a later date.
All or the tour prices are based on a set number of people for each booking. Should the number of people that join the tour on the day increase, then the price will also increase in line with the current tour booking prices. If the number reduces the cancellation policy above will apply to the appropriate reduction in numbers and related prices.
You must be 18 years old to join this tour and participate in wine tasting. However you may bring children with you, up to a maximum of 6 people including adults. A small charge will be added.
Some cellar doors are ‘By appointment only’ and some others are closed on week days from Easter to NZ Labour Weekend (end October) so may not be available to host tastings. There is also a significant ‘wedding business’ on Waiheke Island and that might also limit available tasting times.
If you arrive late for the booked start time of your tour it might mean that the overall tour may be shorter than the stated time, and it could also result in a change to the cellar door visits and restaurants that were originally scheduled.
